What is Yoga?
Yoga is a holistic practice that incorporates the mind body connection. It works on your breathing habits, concentration skills and the ability to focus on the present. Yoga is important for all people and especially for the competitive athlete. Practicing yoga gives the athlete a very real and tangible edge.
The philosophy of yoga is based on the belief that you cannot obtain control of the body without the control of the mind. Yoga combines and integrates the mind-body connection.

 What to wear
Comfortable clothes that allow you to move and stretch easily. Tight fitting if possible. Shoes and socks are not worn in class.
 
What to bring
Mats, towels, and water bottles can be rented or purchased at the studio or brought from your own home. A change of clothes if doing hot yoga. We provide cubbies for personal belongings.  (Please do not bring bags into the studio, as this takes away floor space from your fellow yogis.)

What to expect
We strongly recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes early so you have time to sign in, change, and get settled. On your first visit, plan to come a few minutes earlier to sign in, and pay for class.   

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Hot Brassy Flow:  (60 min) This Jonny Kest inspired practice cultivates awareness and challenges the student through a choreographed FLOW led by the breath. The teachers will support you throughout the practice, while giving you the opportunity to make the sequences your own.  You will leave inspired! (95-101 degrees)

Hot Ashtanga Remix:  This is an incredible, fast paced 60 minute practice based on the ancient principles of the Ashtanga practice.  The remix allows for a looser structure, while keeping with the integrity of the practice with more traditional sequencing. Heat in the room reaches 95 and increases the circulation, therefore, allowing for deeper connection with the postures.

 Yin: (60min) Yin Yoga is a practice that focuses on extensibility to achieve flexibility in the mind and body. Postures are held longer to allow a deep massage and unraveling of the connective tissues while linking them to deep breathing.  This allows the body to release tension and heal itself at a deep level.  This style of yoga is primarily all seated postures and appropriate for all levels.

Hot Alignment Flow:(60 min) This fully guided practice merges breath and movement with strength building postures and sequences that build throughout the week. Find alignment within the  body and connection to intention and leave feeling balanced and grounded! (95-101 degrees)

Hot Vinyasa Express: (45 min) Join us for a quick practice of breath work and postures to open the mind, increase your metabolism and circulation. Starting your morning with intention, you will be more productive and feel great! (95-101 degrees)

Hot Yoga Sculpt: This  45 minute total body workout will challenge you both mentally and physically as you strengthen and tone. Yoga combined with cardio and strength moves will boost your metabolism and help you build lean muscle. Weights are optional for an added challenge. 95-101 degrees
